Q: What inspired you to start rapping?

A: I was 13 when I started rapping, it was honestly out of an urge and belief that I could do it. At the time I played clarinet and didn't find it too cool, but rap seemed like something easy I could do. I wish my beginning story was better. I now am inspired by my friends, my need to share opinions about the world, and the urge to be a better performer.

Q: dude, if you can have any superpower, what would it be?
and when are you coming to NY

A: Flying would be awesome, or spider sense since I am a huge spiderman fan. In all honesty reading minds would probably help me out with my issues in life, or make them worse.

I don't know when I will return to NY. Its been quite sometime. If we are talking about NYC, it will be awhile, if we are talking about NY state. maybe you know someone I should speak to.

Q: it dawned on me that rap is a limitless genre = performance poetry (gud nd bad) + a beat (jazz, soul, eletronic, house,etc). thats amazing! what kind of sounds do see/like to see explored/be popular?

A: I see the frat rap movement growing larger everyday, this is something I am not a fan of but I can understand its place. The music I love that is growing is the addition of good singing hooks to great rap productions, my biggest example of a cross genre rapper would be Astronautalis. The man is legendary, and his music is all his own, not a single person can say he is biting anyone.

the Electronic rap movement is growing as well, this comes from seeing artists like Blu use mostly electroproduction on his latest release and hearing artists like Das Racist do very similar stuff production wise. I hope this answers your question.
